The Seattle Seahawks staged a stunning fightback to overcome the Rams in overtime, clinching their spot in the NFL play-offs.

Overcoming a sixteen-point deficit in the final period, the Seattle squad triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight win.

While the Los Angeles had already secured a playoff berth earlier on game day, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seahawks now lead their Conference standings with a twelve and three mark, supplanting the Rams, who dropped to the number five playoff position with an 11-4 record.

Signal-caller Sam Darnold threw two interceptions but recovered to make two scoring throws, including the tying TD to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a 13-7 advantage at half-time before Walker burst through for a 55-yard scoring dash for Seattle.

Los Angeles cornerback Wallace then took back Darnold's initial pick for a big return, setting up a one-yard touchdown by Blake Corum on the next play.

In the final stanza, a touchdown from Matthew Stafford to Nacua extended the advantage to sixteen points, but Rashid Shaheed provided the hope with a 58-yard return for a score.

Darnold then connected with Barner in the end zone, and a converted two-point play sent the game into overtime.

Although Puka Nacua scored for his another TD in OT, Smith-Njigba responded in kind to set up the game-winning conversion.
